Kynar Heat Shrink Tubing – Protection in Aggressive Environments

Thin-walled heat shrink tubing made of PVDF (Kynar*) is used in demanding applications that require component protection in aggressive environments in the electronics, automotive, and aerospace industries. In addition to its chemical resistance, properties such as flame retardancy, excellent abrasion resistance, and cut resistance make PVDF an ideal material for demanding tasks.

PVDF (Kynar) heat shrink tubing, typically with a shrink ratio of 2:1, has a continuous operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The standard color of this heat shrink tubing is transparent, making it suitable for optical inspection of applications.
